Guilheim Lein Bassène, in his career, combines technology and civic engagement by merging his early passion for technological innovation and gaming with an evolving vocation. Initially oriented towards communications during his university studies, he distinguished himself in the fields of local public communications and sustainable development. His career took a brilliant turn towards call centers, before he followed his aspiration for public service by becoming a senior officer in the Gendarmerie.
Despite an abbreviated stay in the army for confidential reasons, Guilhem resumed his studies in legal and political sciences, obtaining a Master’s degree in Political Science with a notable specialization in International Studies. At the same time, his civic commitment continues, supported by his involvement in a movement dedicated to service and citizenship.
His unwavering interest in technology led him to the LASPAD laboratory’s ProDP program, where he devoted himself to in-depth research into the perception of digital platforms in Senegal and the challenges of protecting personal data.
