The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is committed to implementing the National Digital Economy Policy for a Digital Nigeria. Our mandate is to create a framework for the planning, research, development, standardisation, implementation, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and regulation of information technology practices in Nigeria.

The Agency’ s priorities are development regulation, digital culture and skills, solid infrastructure, service infrastructure , development and promotion of digital services, software infrastructure, the digital society and emerging technologies , and the development and adoption of indigenous content.
