Protection des Donn\u00e9es Personnelles (CDP) is an Independent Administrative Authority (AAI ) established by law no. 2008-12 of 25 January 2008 on the protection of personal data.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-3hk7p443\">It is made up of eleven (11) members chosen for their legal and\/or technical expertise.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mrs Awa NDIAYE (Presidency of the Republic)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Fiacre Bruno L\u00e9opold BADIANE (Presidency of the Republic)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mrs Khoudia GUEYE (Presidency of the Republic)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Th\u00e9odore Cherif MONTEIL (National Assembly)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Kor SENE (Supreme Court)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Moustapha BA (Supreme Court)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ma\u00eetre L\u00e9on Patrice SARR (Bar Association )<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Ababacar DIOP ( Human rights organisations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Cheikh BAKHOUM ( Managing Director of ADIE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Alioune BA (Employers)<br\/> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-p8dt2419\">In addition, a Government Commissioner, appointed by the Prime Minister, sits on the Commission.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-qsmml483\">Mr Pape Assane TOURE (Government)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-e8hsy511\">Their term of office is four (4) years , renewable once.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-fue14539\"><strong>How it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-hh9p9567\"><strong><em>The Commission&#8217; s plenary sessions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-9uu4t429\">The eleven members of the Commission meet in plenary session once or twice a month , in plenary session once or twice a month.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-uqog4596\"><strong><em>The Commission&#8217; s rules of procedure<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-xjuo5434\">The Commission operates on the basis of a set of rules of procedure&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdp.sn\/content\/r%C3%A8glement-int%C3%A9rieur\">(read the rules<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-8w37m628\"><strong><em>The CDP &#8216;s financial resources<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-g3t83440\">The CDP has an autonomous budget , the funds for which are allocated by the Ministry of the Economy and
